AI Solutions Lead 📍 New York, NY (Hybrid) A leading investment management firm is looking for a AI Solutions Lead to join its technology team in New York. This is a hands-on role focused on designing, building, and deploying AI solutions that improve how investment and business teams operate. You’ll work across the full lifecycle—from early experimentation and proof-of-concept through production deployment—helping deliver AI capabilities that support investment research, portfolio operations, client reporting, distribution, and internal business teams. The ideal candidate enjoys building quickly, validating ideas, and scaling solutions that demonstrate measurable impact. What You’ll Do • Develop and deploy AI-driven applications and internal tools, moving projects from concept to production • Design LLM-based solutions including retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), agent workflows, structured outputs, and tool integrations • Integrate enterprise AI platforms such as ChatGPT Enterprise, Microsoft Copilot, and Perplexity into a Microsoft-centric technology environment • Evaluate build vs. buy decisions, running vendor pilots and assessing cost, scalability, and risk before recommending solutions • Implement LLMOps best practices, including prompt versioning, evaluation datasets, testing frameworks, monitoring, and rollback strategies • Build secure retrieval pipelines for internal knowledge and documents, ensuring proper handling of permissions, sensitive data, and compliance requirements • Turn prototypes into scalable services and APIs, with robust monitoring and automated deployment pipelines • Partner with investment and business teams to understand workflows, identify automation opportunities, and measure ROI • Work closely with security, risk, and compliance teams to establish safeguards around AI usage, including protection against prompt injection and data leakage Technologies & Tools Experience with some of the following is highly relevant: • Microsoft ecosystem: Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse, Power BI • LLM platforms: ChatGPT Enterprise, Azure OpenAI, GPT APIs • Enterprise AI tools: Microsoft Copilot, Perplexity Enterprise, Wand.ai • Development tools: REST APIs, Azure Bot Framework, Copilot Studio, AI Builder • AI engineering concepts: retrieval pipelines, embeddings, evaluation frameworks, agentic workflows What We’re Looking For • Strong hands-on experience building and deploying AI/LLM-powered applications • Ability to move quickly from prototype to production-ready systems • Experience working within cloud environments and modern software architectures • Comfort collaborating with both technical teams and business stakeholders • Experience in financial services or investment management is helpful but not required This role is ideal for someone who wants to apply cutting-edge AI technologies to real business problems and see their work used directly by investment professionals.
