Optomi, in partnership with a Major US Airline, is seeking a Technical Lead to join their Innovation & Emerging Technologies team in the Dallas, TX area. This is a Contract-to-Hire position.

β’ Strong proficiency in Python (or similar languages) and practical experience with AWS services such as Lambda, Step Functions, EventBridge, ECS/EKS, and DynamoDB
β’ Working knowledge of Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) patterns, vector search tools (OpenSearch, pgvector), and grounding/citation approaches
β’ Experience with application observability and performance tuningβincluding tracing, monitoring, evaluation pipelines, and A/B testing
β’ Strong problem-solving ability and a focus on building scalable, reliable, and maintainable systems
β’ Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate closely with product, engineering, and research teams to drive execution
