Position Overview
Law & Crime is seeking a highly analytical and technically proficient AI Workflow Specialist to join our new AI team. This role will be crucial in automating processes, optimizing workflows, and developing AI-powered solutions to improve efficiency and decision-making across various departments. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of API integration, prompt engineering, business analysis, and the nuances between different Large Language Models (LLMs). This role is critical for cost savings, enhancing content strategy, and maintaining a competitive advantage.
This is a contract position through the end of 2025, with the possibility of being converted to a full-time role. New York City area preferred.
Key Responsibilities Include, But Not Limited To:
β’ Workflow Automation & Optimization: Design, develop, and implement automated systems and intelligent agents to streamline operational processes across various departments, significantly reducing manual effort and increasing efficiency.
β’ Data Integration & Analysis: Build and manage robust data pipelines and AI agents to facilitate seamless information flow between systems, enable deeper data analysis, and support strategic decision-making.
β’ Intelligent Content Management & Distribution Support: Develop AI-driven solutions to assist with content organization, metadata tagging, and optimize content scheduling and distribution strategies for maximum reach and engagement.
β’ System Monitoring & Alerting: Implement AI-powered monitoring systems to detect anomalies, quality issues, or outages in live streams, VOD playback, and encoding processes, ensuring operational resilience and high-quality viewer experience.
Qualifications:
β’ Strong experience with APIs and building integrations between diverse systems.
β’ Proficiency in prompt engineering and a solid understanding of the differences and applications of various LLM models.
β’ Demonstrated experience in business analysis, process mapping, and identifying automation opportunities.
β’ Familiarity with data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes.
β’ Ability to translate complex business requirements into technical solutions.
β’ Problem-solving skills with a focus on efficiency, scalability, and impact.
β’ Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
Desirable Skills & Tools:
β’ Media industry experience preferred.
β’ Experience with workflow automation platforms such as N8N, Make.com, Workato, etc.
β’ Certifications with AI development frameworks and protocols like LangChain, MCP.
β’ Proficiency with AirTable, Google Workspaces, and Slack for integration and workflow management.
β’ Understanding of data privacy and security best practices.
β’ Proficient in programming languages such as Python, JavaScript.
