Polaris is seeking an AI/ML Engineer with strong hands-on experience in C# and Python to design, develop, deploy, and maintain AI/ML solutions on Azure. The role focuses on building scalable applications and RESTful APIs to serve ML models, implementing MLOps/CI-CD pipelines, and leveraging Azure AI services (including Azure AI Foundry and Azure Machine Learning) to deliver production-grade solutions.
Required Qualifications
• 3+ years of hands-on programming experience with C# and Python, including building scalable applications and integrating ML models.
• 2+ years of AI/ML development experience focused on OpenAI Services, NLP and large language models (LLMs).
• Practical experience designing, building, and managing RESTful APIs (C#/.NET and Python/FastAPI).
• Proven experience deploying and operating ML models on Azure, including Azure Machine Learning, Azure AI Foundry, Azure Functions, and Azure DevOps.
• Experience implementing CI/CD and MLOps best practices for automated model deployment and monitoring.
• Experience with Terraform or similar IaC tools to manage cloud infrastructure.
Desired Skills & Experience
• Deep familiarity with Azure AI Foundry for model development, orchestration, and deployment.
• Knowledge of model evaluation, validation techniques, and production monitoring (model drift, performance metrics, logging).
• Consulting experience engaging directly with clients to deliver tailored technical solutions.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
