About the Role
Seeking an experienced AI/ML Engineer with strong automotive industry experience to join their growing team. This position offers the opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects in machine learning and deep learning while collaborating with diverse research and engineering teams.
Key Responsibilities
• Design, develop, and implement machine learning models for automotive applications.
• Apply deep learning techniques (especially with PyTorch) to solve research and applied problems.
• Review and interpret research papers to translate findings into practical prototypes and projects.
• Contribute to distributed training of large-scale foundation models (e.g., VLMs, text-to-video models).
• Collaborate across teams in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, switching between rapid prototyping and production-level implementation.
• Participate in code reviews, documentation, testing, and CI/CD workflows to maintain software best practices.
Required Skills & Experience
• Automotive experience (highest priority).
• Hands-on PyTorch expertise with demonstrated applications in real-world projects.
• 4+ years of professional ML engineering experience in AI/ML-focused organizations.
• Familiarity with state-of-the-art ML in behavior learning, computer vision, and/or language models.
• Experience with distributed training, model optimization (quantization, mixed precision, model/data parallelism, FSDP).
• Strong proficiency in Python and modern software development practices.
• Knowledge of data pipelines, model serving, cloud-based training, and dataset management.
