Looking for someone with a strong background in machine learning and engineering, a passion for quality and scalability, and an interest in creating evaluation systems.
Job Description:
β’ Design, optimize, evaluate and deploy cutting-edge evaluations for agentic systems with applications to drug discovery
β’ Drive research on (large-scale) generative AI methods solving computational biology challenges.
β’ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to evaluate LLM based agents and deploy it into impactful applications for drug discovery and target discovery.
β’ Opportunity to contribute to publications, presenting results at internal and external
scientific conferences.
Education:
β’ PhD or Master's degree in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Data Science, Bioinformatics, Computational biology or a related field.
Required skills:
β’ Strong foundations in data structures, algorithms, and software engineering principles and knowledge of computational and statistical methods used in biological data analysis.
β’ Advanced programming skills in Python, with experience in frameworks such as LangGraph, LangChain, and Requests.
β’ Passionate about developing scalable, efficient, and well-documented software.
Preferred skills:
β’ Familiarity with AI agents, RAG and fine-tuning methods (e.g., SFT, RLHF, RL with experimental feedback), prompt engineering, and LLM calibration techniques.
β’ Familiarity with R programming, Bioconductor, and computational biology pipelines.
β’ Familiarity with ML topics such as uncertainty quantification, conformal prediction, or offline RL.
β’ Publication record in top ML conferences (e.g., NeurIPS, ICML, ICLR) is a plus.
β’ Prior experience in drug discovery or knowledge of biological domains such as target discovery is a plus.
β’ Experience with MLOps and API-based AI systems is a plus.
β’ Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
β’ Take full ownership of challenges from start to finish and proactively acquire any necessary knowledge to drive solutions forward
