Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Splunk + Dynatrace Migration Expert to lead a critical observability transformation initiative. This role will focus on the end-to-end migration from Splunk to Dynatrace, ensuring seamless transition, optimized monitoring capabilities, and minimal business disruption. The ideal candidate will be a hands-on technical expert with deep knowledge of both platforms and strong collaboration skills.
Key Responsibilities:
β’ Lead the full migration lifecycle from Splunk to Dynatrace β planning, execution, validation, and post-migration support
β’ Recreate and optimize dashboards, alerts, and ingestion pipelines in Dynatrace
β’ Deploy and configure Dynatrace OneAgent, tagging rules, log monitoring, and Davis AI-powered analytics
β’ Collaborate with DevOps, SRE, and Application teams to ensure end-to-end observability
β’ Document architecture, migration processes, and operational procedures
β’ Deliver training and enablement sessions for internal teams on Dynatrace usage
Required Skills:
β’ Strong hands-on experience with both Splunk and Dynatrace in production environments
β’ Proven track record of leading Splunk β Dynatrace migration projects
β’ Expertise in full-stack monitoring, alerting, tagging, and log analytics
β’ Familiarity with scripting or automation (e.g., Python, Bash, APIs)
β’ Strong communication and documentation skills
β’ Experience working with cross-functional teams in remote, agile environments
Preferred Qualifications:
β’ Experience with cloud-native environments or microservices monitoring
β’ Prior experience supporting enterprise-scale observability platforms
