Role description
BCForward is currently seeking a highly motivated Analytics Engineer for an opportunity with our client Role: Analytics Engineer Location: Fully Remote Duration: 6+ Months Contract Candidate Requirements: Required Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field AND 2+ years’ experience in analytics engineering, data engineering, data science, data analyst, or related software development work • Master’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field AND 1+ years’ experience in analytics engineering, data engineering, data science, data analyst, or related software development work • OR equivalent experience. • 1+ years working as an Analytics Engineer or Data Engineer with regular business collaboration or equivalent on large enterprise systems. Top 3 Must-Have HARD Skills & years of experience for each: 1. Minimum 3 years of experience in Python 1. Minimum 3 years of experience in SQL 1. Minimum 3 years of experience in Data modeling 1. Minimum 2+ years’ experience in analytics engineering, data engineering, data science, data analyst, or related software development work • Best vs. Average: o Best: Frames experience around outcomes and impact, demonstrates curiosity, and understands business context. o Average: Lists technologies without connecting them to business results.
