We are collaborating with a distinguished fast-casual restaurant chain based in the United States, celebrated for its exceptional menu featuring gourmet burgers, hot dogs, crispy fries, decadent shakes, and creamy frozen custard. This organization has experienced notable global expansion, emphasizing a commitment to sourcing high-quality, fresh ingredients while providing a modern and inviting dining atmosphere.
This organization is actively seeking an Analytics Engineer to enhance its internal analytics capabilities. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in transitioning responsibilities from an offshore partner to the internal team while fostering a culture that emphasizes data-driven decision-making. The position entails effective communication with stakeholders to ensure that data delivery aligns with business objectives, supporting Business Intelligence (BI) and data science initiatives.
Responsibility of the role includes:
β’ Engage with business stakeholders to gather insights into their data requirements while ensuring that data delivery mechanisms align with broader business objectives.
β’ Work closely with stakeholders on a daily basis to comprehend their needs for data products, actively contributing to the development and coding of these solutions.
β’ Supervise offshore developers, delegating tasks strategically to optimize both efficiency and productivity.
β’ Write, document, and share code independently, promoting a culture of transparency and collaboration.
β’ Utilize tools such as SQL, DBT (an ETL tool), Snowflake, and Tableau to design and manage reporting dashboards that ensure data accessibility for users.
β’ Bring relevant industry experience, ideally from sectors such as retail, hospitality, or quick-service restaurants (QSR), focusing on customer-facing operations.
Requirements:
β’ Demonstrated experience as an Analytics Engineer or in a similar role, showcasing a strong understanding of data modeling and ETL processes.
β’ Proficient in SQL, with familiarity in data warehousing solutions, particularly Snowflake.
β’ Knowledge of analytical tools such as DBT and visualization platforms like Tableau.
β’ Excellent communication skills essential for effective stakeholder engagement, translating business requirements into technical specifications.
β’ Experience in industries like hospitality or food service is preferred.
β’ A collaborative mindset and a passion for leveraging data to drive insights and inform strategic decision-making.
