Analytics Engineer - REMOTE

You will be an integral part of a dynamic data analytics team for this growing supply chain software company. You will be building and maintaining infrastructure for data analytics, data visualization, and exploratory data analysis. Manage data systems and ensure information accuracy to support business operations and requirements. Work with engineering and manage stakeholders across the enterprise to address diverse demands and deliver solutions that meet business needs. REMOTE CONTRACT POSITION Responsibilities • Develop and maintain data infrastructure for company analytics. • Plan & build analytics infrastructure. • Use automated tools to extract data from primary and secondary sources. • Build and support data visualization for Business and Product needs. • Work with business and technical Product Managers to define API reporting and prepare reports to assist with tracking and achieving business goals. • Analyze application data for trends, patterns and errors. • Work with Engineers to identify potential data issues and help fix them. • Define key reporting metrics for the Business. BACKGROUND • Strong experience in data management and analysis. • Strong background in Mathematics and/or Statistics or other related field • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. • Solid experience in data visualization tools such as Sigma, Looker, Tableau, and Power BI. • Solid experience with SQL and Cloud Data Warehouses like Snowflake. • Experience with data models and ETL frameworks, and familiarity with DBT. • Experience translating business needs into meaningful dashboards and reports. • Strong experience with Excel and Google Sheets. • Ability to learn new processes and software tools quickly. • Detail-oriented and organized with the ability to keep track of multiple projects concurrently.
