Job Title: Analytics & Reporting Manager – Logistics Industry Location: Remote Employment Type: Contract About the Role We are seeking a seasoned Analytics & Reporting Manager who truly breathes data and thrives on transforming complex information into actionable insights. This is not a role for someone who simply takes a requirement and builds reports—this position calls for a strategic leader who can shape the reporting function end-to-end, working closely with executives, regional managers, and cross-functional stakeholders. The ideal candidate will bring a deep background in statistics, data organization, and enterprise reporting frameworks. They will be adept at uncovering the right metrics, designing structured reporting pillars, and ensuring that the organization operates with a data-driven mindset. Key Responsibilities • Lead Reporting Strategy: Define, design, and own the enterprise reporting framework, ensuring alignment with business goals, regulatory requirements, and operational excellence. • Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate directly with regional managers and senior leadership to understand business needs and translate them into robust reporting requirements. • Data Storytelling: Extract meaningful insights from reports, identifying trends, anomalies, and opportunities that drive strategic decisions. • Regulatory & Operational Reporting: Oversee the delivery of accurate, timely, and compliant regulatory and operating reports, ensuring all critical business metrics are captured. • Reporting Governance: Establish and manage reporting pillars, ensuring data consistency, reliability, and scalability across the enterprise. • Technology Enablement: Leverage modern data platforms (e.g., Snowflake, Power BI, and other analytical tools) while ensuring solutions go beyond tool expertise and reflect true business intelligence leadership. • Mentorship & Leadership: Guide teams and peers in best practices for data organization, reporting design, and analytical excellence. Qualifications • 10+ years of experience in analytics, reporting, or data management, preferably within logistics, supply chain, or related industries. • Strong statistical background with proven ability to structure and interpret complex data. • Demonstrated success in designing and leading reporting frameworks at scale, beyond just tool-based reporting. • Experience working on any TMS like CargoWise • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and executive presence—able to interview stakeholders, ask the right questions, and influence reporting direction. • Hands-on expertise with data platforms and visualization tools (Snowflake, Power BI, etc.), combined with the ability to look beyond the technology to deliver business value. • Proven ability to transform raw data into actionable insights that drive operational and strategic outcomes.
