Job Description:
Analytics Specialist (Full-Stack Analytics Expert)
We are seeking a highly skilled Analytics Specialist to join our team. This role requires a βfull-stackβ analytics expert who can independently manage incoming requests, troubleshoot issues, and deliver impactful insights across web and digital platforms. The ideal candidate is hands-on, detail-oriented, and equally comfortable in tools, strategy, and execution.
Key Responsibilities
β’ Own the end-to-end analytics process, including handling ad-hoc requests, investigating issues, and conducting analyses (traffic trends, conversion funnels, attribution, etc.).
β’ Configure, manage, and troubleshoot Google Tag Manager, including tags, triggers, variables, and debugging.
β’ Set up and optimize Google Analytics 4, including custom dimensions, metrics, parameters, conversions, and resolving data issues.
β’ Ensure data accuracy and integrity across platforms by applying best practices in cross-domain tracking, UTM/campaign tagging, referral exclusions, cookies, and session behavior.
β’ Build and customize reports, analyses, and dashboards in GA4 Explore, Looker Studio, or similar tools.
β’ Use debugging tools (DebugView, GTM Preview, Chrome DevTools) to test and validate implementations.
β’ Collaborate with stakeholders to design, maintain, and optimize the data layer for scalable analytics.
β’ Leverage working knowledge of JavaScript to create custom GTM tags and variables.
Qualifications
β’ Proven experience as a web or digital analytics specialist, with deep expertise in GA4 and GTM.
β’ Strong technical and analytical problem-solving skills.
β’ Familiarity with debugging and validation tools.
β’ Ability to translate complex data into actionable insights and clear reporting for stakeholders.
β’ Bonus: experience with Looker Studio, BigQuery, or other BI/visualization tools.
