We are seeking an experienced API Designer to architect, design, and document APIs that enable seamless integration across enterprise systems. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in RESTful API design, microservices architecture, and API lifecycle management.
Key Responsibilities:
β’ Design, document, and maintain RESTful APIs and integration patterns.
β’ Collaborate with architects, developers, and business stakeholders to ensure scalable and secure designs.
β’ Define API standards, best practices, and governance models.
β’ Work with API management tools (Apigee, Mulesoft, or similar).
β’ Ensure compliance with security, performance, and scalability requirements.
Required Skills & Experience:
β’ 5+ years in API design and integration.
β’ Strong knowledge of REST, JSON, OAuth, OpenAPI/Swagger.
β’ Experience with microservices and event-driven architecture.
β’ Hands-on with API gateways and management platforms.
β’ Excellent communication and documentation skills.
