API Developer

Responsibilities Kforce has a client that is seeking an API Developer in Sunrise, FL. Summary: As a Senior Application Developer, the role will be responsible for Application enhancements, testing and mentoring junior developers. The candidate will manage the lifecycle of applications in the application portfolio from initial release to its final retirement. They will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that all applications enhancement requests are prioritized, and requirements documents, architecture and security standards are met. Requirements • Bachelor's degree in in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or other related field preferred • 5+ years of experience with Product Information Management System, Digital Asset Management System, and other Enterprise Application administration and enhancement experience (i.e., Salsify PIM, Bynder DAM, etc.) • 3+ years of expertise in working with business stakeholders on gathering requirements, prioritizing enhancements requests, design, development and implement enhancements • 3+ years of Application Development experience • Application and Data Integration pattern understanding (API, ETL, ELT, etc.) DevOps • Knowledge of Service Level Agreements (SLA) for Applications • Advanced understanding of application development methodology (Waterfall or Agile) • Effective communication and collaboration skills • Problem-solving and analytical thinking • Experience with system architecture preferred • Continuous integration (CI) and continuous delivery (CD) experience preferred The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law.
