API developers should have comprehensive technical skills, including the following:
β’ Knowledge of API orchestration (the ability to develop multiple API code lines simultaneously and make them work together)
β’ Understanding of service-oriented architecture (SOA)
β’ Proficiency with common API development tools, including J2EE, JUnit, Make file, TortoiseSVN, JSON, PHP, Apache JMeter, and Tomcat
β’ Design, develop, and operate high scale applications across the full engineering stack.
β’ Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code following best practices.
β’ Apply modern software development practices (serverless computing, microservices architecture, CI/CD, infrastructure-as-code, etc.)

β’ Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
β’ 5+ years of hands on experience in developing API
β’ Experience in Java 17+, Spring Boot 3+, and RESTful API design
β’ Deep understanding of Microservices architecture, distributed systems, and inter-service communication protocols
β’ Deep knowledge and practical experience with caching solutions, including Redis
β’ Experience in implementing and managing CI/CD pipelines for automated build, test, and deployment processes.
β’ Proficiency in relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL) and NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB or Cassandra)
β’ Design, implement, support cloud-native applications on platforms such as Google Cloud and AWS.
β’ Proficiency in RESTful API design and development.
β’ Strong knowledge of API security best practices, including OAuth2 and JWT.
β’ Experience with API documentation tools such as Swagger or Postman
