Role description
We are looking for an engineer with expertise in healthcare systems to help write API prompts for desired use cases of healthcare professionals. Your experience building and supporting digital health platforms, EHR integrations, clinical infrastructure, or patient service systems will ensure each prompt and response reflects how real-world healthcare engineers design secure, scalable, and interoperable tools. The perfect candidate has a strong grasp on how AI understands data exchange, regulatory compliance, and care-enabling technologies—ideally including familiarity with healthcare APIs such as FHIR, HL7, or DICOM. You are a good fit if you: • Have over 3+ years of professional experience working as a software, systems, or integration engineer in the healthcare domain • Have a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience) • Are currently based in the U.S., Canada, New Zealand, UK, or Australia • Have experience supporting systems like electronic health records (EHRs), medical imaging platforms, or digital patient services • Have worked on tasks such as data validation, clinical system maintenance, user provisioning, secure architecture, or technical documentation in a healthcare setting • Demonstrate strong communication skills and attention to detail when describing technical concepts Role Highlights • Flexible workload: 10–20 hours per week, with potential to increase to 40 hours. • Fully remote and asynchronous—work on your own schedule. • Minimum duration: 1–2 months, with potential for extension. Role Start Date • This role will begin in mid to late-August with applications reviewed on a rolling basis. Interview Process • You will take an AI interview where you will be asked questions about your background in healthcare systems, technical integration, and engineering documentation. • You will share your screen and write a detailed prompt to generate an AI response about a Clinical informatics support scenario. • You will evaluate and compare LLM outputs to determine which response is more effective and accurate. • Applicants will be selected based on their performance in the AI interview and on the accuracy and quality of their evaluations.
