Application Support (SQL/T-SQL/SSIS)

Title: Application Support (SQL/T-SQL/SSIS) Location: 100% Remote or Malven, PA (if located in PA - Hybrid of onsite and remote – Onsite is 3 days/month – 2nd full week of each month – Tuesday, Weds and Thursday and then the rest of the time is remote) Working Hours – Standard Business Hours (Eastern Timezone) Contract Duration: October 2025 – September 30, 2026 with possibility of an extension This Application Developer will be responsible for interpreting requirements provided by a team of Business Analysts, Query Development, Testing and Quality Assurance and the be tasked with developing and maintaining SQL queries, database views to permit timely and efficient measurement and analysis of business processes for the IT department. These include standards ITIL processes such as Incident Management, as well as Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and other IT processes performed by the department. Other duties will include the following: • Maintain and enhance a dimensional Data Warehouse and an Operational Data Store. • Create data dashboards and visualizations using Tableau and Excel to perform report development. • Manage data and assist in defining and maintaining metadata and data dictionaries to support Data Governance across the department. • Develop SQL queries, views, stored procedures, and functions to support data analysts throughout the department. • Read and understand execution plans to optimize queries and related index. • Deliver digestible information through various means including SQL Server Integration Service Development, Tableau, PowerPoint, and create and maintain artifacts supporting Data Governance, Management, and Delivery. Required Skills and Expertise: • Bachelor's degree or foreign degree equivalent in engineering (information technology), computer science, information technology, or closely related field of study. Advanced SQL/T-SQL skills including: • Creating Stored Procedures & Functions • Working Query Optimization & Execution Plans • Data Dictionary Creation & Maintenance Solid skills in working with SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) Knowledgeable in ETL Development Experience supporting Data Warehouse Development Well versed in Dimensional Modeling Strong skills in Data Visualization including working with Tableau • Experience creating dashboards Advanced skills in working with Microsoft Excel Experience working with MS PowerPoint Expertise in Metadata Management Knowledgeable in Data Governance Must exude strong soft skills in the following areas: • Communication • Problem-Solving • Collaboration & Teamwork • Documentation Skills • Stakeholder Management Feliza LaClare Sr. Talent Acquisition Manager, iSpace, Inc. 562.377.2244 feliza.laclare@ispace.com| https://www.ispace.com
