Artificial Intelligence Engineer

We are looking for a highly skilled AI Developer to design and build next-generation GenAI and Agentic AI solutions leveraging the Azure AI ecosystem. This role focuses on building RAG-powered applications, multi-agent workflows, and enterprise-grade AI platforms. Key Responsibilities RAG & AI System Development • Design and operate Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG) services using Azure AI Search. • Implement document chunking, embeddings, hybrid retrieval, re-ranking, evaluation, and citation generation. • Build production-grade, multi-turn conversational AI systems with retrieval grounding. Agentic AI & Automation • Develop agentic AI workflows using frameworks such as: • AutoGen • CrewAI • Agno • Enable secure tool-calling, multi-agent orchestration, and automated decision workflows. Platform Integrations • Build MCP tools and servers to integrate: • Security scanners • Inventory systems • Approval workflows • Azure DevOps / GitHub pipelines Azure AI & Cloud Architecture • Integrate Azure OpenAI services behind Azure API Management (APIM). • Manage secrets using Azure Key Vault. • Process real-time events via Azure Event Hub. • Implement monitoring with: • Application Insights • Log Analytics Security, Monitoring & Observability • Implement prompt management, guardrails, audit logging, and telemetry. • Perform red-team testing for prompt injection and jailbreak attacks. • Develop operational runbooks and reliability processes. Model Optimization • Evaluate and fine-tune open-source models using techniques such as: • PEFT • LoRA • Optimize model quality, latency, and cost efficiency. DevOps & Delivery • Implement CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps. • Build automated testing frameworks for AI systems. • Ensure secure and scalable deployments. Minimum Qualifications • 4 – 8 years of software development experience • 2+ years working with LLM / Generative AI systems • Strong proficiency in Python • Hands-on experience with: • Azure OpenAI • Azure AI Search (Vector / Hybrid / Semantic search) • Experience with Agent frameworks and tool-use patterns • Expertise in Azure PaaS services: • Azure Functions / Web Apps • Azure API Management • Azure Key Vault • Azure Event Hub • Strong understanding of Entra ID / RBAC and secure API design • Experience with Application Insights, Log Analytics, and KQL • Experience building CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps Preferred Certifications • AI-102 – Azure AI Engineer Associate • AZ-204 – Azure Developer Associate • AZ-305 – Azure Solutions Architect • DP-100 – Azure Data Scientist Duration- 6+ Months ( Extension highly possible) About US Tech Solutions: US Tech Solutions is a global staff augmentation firm providing a wide range of talent on-demand and total workforce solutions.
