Job Title: AI Engineer Location: Hybrid (3 days on-site in Carmel, IN 46032) Contract Duration: Contract (12 months) Job Summary We seek a skilled AI Engineer to develop and implement cutting-edge AI-powered applications, with a focus on generative AI. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, build, and deploy innovative solutions that drive business growth and enhance user experiences. This role combines software development expertise with a passion for AI innovation. Key Responsibilities • Design and build end-to-end AI-powered software solutions, including generative AI applications. • Utilize prompt engineering techniques to optimize AI outputs for quality and relevance. • Conduct experiments to refine AI models and integrate solutions into existing systems. • Troubleshoot production issues and ensure robust deployment of AI services. • Collaborate with data scientists, architects, and cloud engineers to translate business needs into technical implementations. • Stay current with AI advancements and share knowledge with team members. Required Skills • Technical Expertise: o Intermediate/Advanced Python and JavaScript. o Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP). o Proficiency in building RESTful APIs and web services. o Production support experience (triage, debugging, monitoring). • Soft Skills: o Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking. o Excellent communication for technical and non-technical audiences. o Team collaboration and self-motivated learning mindset. Preferred Skills • Experience with generative AI (e.g., prompt engineering, model fine-tuning). • Familiarity with IaC tools (Terraform, ARM templates, CloudFormation). • DevOps practices: CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions), monitoring (Grafana, ELK stack), GitOps. • Big data tools (Azure Synapse, Apache Spark, Databricks). • Automated testing/deployment for AI/ML models.
