Job Role: Assistant Manager, Economic Crime Financial Intelligence Unit
Contract Type: 6 Month Fixed Term Contract

Within Risk we partner with the business to keep customers and TSB safe, and enable the safe delivery of TSB’s strategic plan. This Fixed Term Contract role brings subject matter expertise in economic crime investigations and data analytics disciplines, supporting the FIU in assessing the effectiveness of key Economic Crime systems. The role involves analysis of data emanating from, but not limited to, Transaction Monitoring, Customer Screening, Threat Analytics and managing escalated alerts, as well as supporting complex financial crime investigations. A proven ability to work accurately with the capability of completing meaningful analysis using multiple data sources is essential.
You'll be based in London or Edinburgh and will work flexibly between your home and our office.
What You’ll Bring
• Strong investigation experience and the ability to apply critical thinking and good judgement.
• Knowledge and understanding of the regulations pertaining to economic sanctions and money laundering.
• Capability and evidence of completing insightful analysis and MI using various data sources.
• Good knowledge and experience in analytics - Ability to run and amend existing programs in SQL & SAS as well as write code from scratch
• Strong oral and written communication skills, specifically explaining data and MI.
• Strong problem solving skills to identify and resolve problems.
• Experience of data visualisation tools such as Power BI is beneficial but not mandatory
• Effective relationship management skills with a variety of stakeholders including senior leaders.
• Experience of working with large datasets
• Curiosity and an ability to actively listen and influence effectively.
• A desire to learn about an ever changing Economic Crime landscape, and a willingness to support agreed change programmes
• Be accountable for engaging our teams and developing a positive and inclusive culture.
