Job Title: Associate Analytics Engineer (4-Month Contract, Remote)
Location: Remote (Quarterly In-Person Meetings)
We are seeking a skilled Associate Analytics Engineer for a contract position to join our growing data analytics team. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in developing and maintaining data infrastructure for business and financial analytics, data visualization, and exploratory data analysis. You will work closely with engineers and business stakeholders to ensure data accuracy and provide valuable insights to drive key business decisions.
Key Responsibilities:
β’ Develop and maintain data infrastructure to support analytics initiatives.
β’ Extract and process data from multiple sources using automated tools.
β’ Create and manage data visualizations to meet the needs of business and product teams.
β’ Collaborate with product managers to define reporting needs and track business goals.
β’ Analyze data for trends, patterns, and errors, offering actionable insights.
β’ Work with engineering teams to identify and resolve data issues.
β’ Design and implement key reporting dashboards for business stakeholders.
β’ Plan and build scalable analytics infrastructure to support long-term business objectives.
What Weβre Looking For:
β’ A background in Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field, supporting strong analytical skills.
β’ 2-3 years of experience in data analysis, management, or reporting.
β’ Proficiency in SQL and familiarity with cloud data warehouses (e.g., Snowflake).
β’ Experience with data visualization tools such as Sigma, Looker, Tableau, or Power BI.
β’ Exposure to ETL frameworks and tools like DBT is a plus.
β’ Ability to translate business requirements into actionable data reports and dashboards.
β’ Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
β’ Detail-oriented with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
β’ Fluent in English, both written and verbal.
β’ A tech-savvy individual who adapts quickly to new tools and processes.
