The Role
In this role, you will contribute key deliverables to help us to bring data to a wide audience of stakeholders around the business. You will translate requirements into Tableau dashboards, using best practice data visualization guidelines, ensuring content can be consumed with the minimum effort possible. Our goal is to drive up dashboard usage to facilitate more data-driven decisions, and to enable self-service BI across all verticals at The Economist.
How You Will Contribute In This Role
In the role you would be expected to:
β’ Create impactful data visualizations that drive action in Tableau
β’ Build using a template to ensure consistent look and feel for the end user
β’ Iterate on dashboards to keep them relevant
β’ Identify ways to automate currently manual processes, using Tableau to visualize
β’ Help to ensure best practice visualization standards are employed in the teamβs Tableau content
β’ Gather new business requirements and collaborate closely with our users
What Weβre Looking For
β’ Experience building and enhancing Tableau workbooks
β’ Knowledge of SQL
β’ Analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
β’ Communication, presentation and interpersonal skills
β’ High levels of energy, enthusiasm and passion to succeed in a dynamic environment
β’ Knowledge of best practice data visualization techniques
Working Arrangements
The majority of our roles operate on a hybrid working pattern, with 3+ days office attendance required.
