Project Details:
- Day to Day: broker for everything GuideWell - varies day to day - may look at AI and research different AI solutions or maybe an AI pipeline -Login to the cloud and check the logs for anything wrong and open a ticket, help the consumer and direct them, if the costumer is having issues they understand enough to talk to costumer/security team to come to a conclusion.
- Designing infrastructure/ensuring compliance, etc.

Description:
Associate IT Systems Engineers are responsible for monitoring, installation, configuration, debugging, administration, troubleshooting and maintenance of technology solutions. Associate IT Systems Engineers provide technical support, troubleshoot problems and perform scripting/programming to ensure stable and efficient operation of technology solutions.
Essential functions:
β’ Performs installation, monitoring, testing, configuration, migration, maintenance and troubleshooting of assigned technology
β’ Manages system/application environment and ongoing operations
β’ Ensures that the technologies are updated with current, stable, and compliant architecture and applications that meet enterprise standards
β’ Researches, designs, implements and tests technology solutions
β’ Proactively monitors and reports performance and utilization of assigned technologies
β’ Troubleshoots software and/or hardware issues/failures
β’ Resolves alerts and performs remediation activities
β’ Manages problem or escalated tickets and tasks and out of cycle requests from systems/software owners
β’ Collects and presents data for reporting and planning
β’ Assists with developing tactical strategies, processes and procedures related to systems/application administration
β’ Determines migration and upgrade impacts and diagnose/resolve complex technology/application errors
β’ Collaborates with IT and business area partners on work groups and initiatives
β’ Determines best course of action for meeting business needs
β’ May provide input into infrastructure architecture designs
β’ Writes programming/scripting
β’ May participate in Disaster Recovery planning and exercises
β’ Ensures execution and alignment to architectural standards and blueprints.
β’ May contribute input to infrastructure architecture
β’ Performs on-call activities as needed for the environment and technologies
Requirements:
β’ Extensive working knowledge of multiple technologies and their interfaces and integration
β’ Competent working in one or more environments highly integrated with an operating system.
β’ Extensive experience implementing and administering/managing technical solutions in major, large-scale system implementations
β’ High critical thinking skills to evaluate alternatives and present solutions that are consistent with business objectives and strategy.
β’ Ability to manage tasks independently and take ownership of responsibilities
β’ Ability to learn from mistakes and apply constructive feedback to improve performance
β’ Ability to communicate technical information clearly and articulately
β’ Ability to adapt to a rapidly changing environment
β’ Experience analyzing business requirements and translating them into technical solutions
β’ Experience using Agile methodology
Required Experience:
β’ 2+ years of relevant work experience in a cloud environment
β’ Must have experience using any of the following cloud services: AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
β’ Terraform experience required
β’ Understanding of Kubernetes nice to have but not required
β’ Looking for cloud engineering experience, not DevOps support engineers
Preferred Education:
β’ Bachelor's degree in a related field
