The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience implementing and managing Atlan Data Governance, along with expertise in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Power BI. This role will focus on establishing enterprise-wide data governance practices, improving data quality, enhancing metadata management, and enabling business users with trusted and governed da ta. Key Responsibil • itiesConfigure, administer, and optimize the Atlan Data Governance plat • form.Build and maintain enterprise data catalogs, metadata repositories, and business glossa • ries.Define and implement data governance policies, standards, and best pract • ices.Establish and maintain data lineage across enterprise data as • sets.Collaborate with business stakeholders, data stewards, and technical teams to improve data quality and govern • ance.Integrate Atlan with various GCP data sources and enterprise applicat • ions.Work with BigQuery, Cloud Storage, and other GCP services to manage governed data as • sets.Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards to monitor data governance metrics, data quality, and compli • ance.Perform metadata ingestion, classification, tagging, and asset disco • very.Support data stewardship activities and ensure compliance with organizational and regulatory requirem • ents.Troubleshoot governance platform issues and recommend continuous improvem • ents.Document governance processes, standards, and technical configurat ions. Preferred Qualific • ationsBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Engineering, or a related • field.5+ years of experience in Data Governance, Metadata Management, or Data Manag • ement.2+ years of hands-on experience with Atlan Data Gover • nance.Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP), including BigQuery, Cloud Storage, an • d IAM.Strong experience creating reports and dashboards using Pow • er BI.Experience integrating data governance tools with cloud platforms and BI solu • tions.Knowledge of data privacy and compliance frameworks such as GDPR, CCPA, or HIPAA is a plus.
