Are you a data-driven problem solver with a passion for turning complex information into actionable insights? We’re looking for a Data Analyst to join our team and support key business initiatives focused on cost efficiency and data reliability. This is a great opportunity to work across multiple teams and contribute to high-impact reporting and forecasting. The role is being offered as a maternity cover until December 2026.
About The Role
Reporting to the Senior Statistician, you’ll play a central role in reducing reliance on manual sampling by improving the use of machine data. You’ll work closely with Traffic, Engineering, and Forecasting teams to ensure robust, accurate, and timely data is available for internal and external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
• Analyse and document machine data sources, models, and limitations.
• Assess reliability and usability of automation data for business reporting.
• Collaborate with Traffic and Engineering teams to resolve data issues.
• Develop regular reporting systems for key stakeholders including Ofcom.
• Support weekly parcel forecasts and quarterly manual traffic calculations.
• Contribute to cross-functional projects within Data and Forecasting teams.
About You
You’re a confident analyst with strong numerical skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a virtual team. You’re comfortable engaging with stakeholders at all levels and thrive in a fast-paced, data-focused environment.
