Hi, Job Title: Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) Engineer (Infrastructure / End-User Support) Location: Phoenix, AZ (Onsite – 2 Days per Week) Duration: Long-Term Contract / Full-Time Job Summary We are seeking a skilled Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) Engineer with strong infrastructure expertise and hands-on experience in end-user support. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and optimizing AVD environments, supporting enterprise users, and ensuring a secure, high-performing virtual desktop infrastructure. Key Responsibilities AVD Infrastructure Management Design, deploy, configure, and manage Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) environments Administer session hosts, host pools, application groups, and FSLogix user profiles Monitor performance, availability, and capacity planning of AVD infrastructure Perform patch management and system updates Maintain documentation and standard operating procedures End-User Support (L2/L3) Provide L2/L3 support for virtual desktop-related issues Troubleshoot login, profile, connectivity, latency, and application performance issues Support Windows Server and Windows 10/11 multi-session environments Security & Collaboration Implement security best practices, including Conditional Access and MFA Collaborate with networking, security, and cloud teams for issue resolution Ensure compliance with enterprise security and infrastructure standards Required Qualifications 5+ years of experience in Infrastructure / End-User Computing support Strong hands-on experience with Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) Experience with Microsoft Azure, Active Directory, and Entra ID Knowledge of FSLogix profile management Experience with Windows Server and desktop OS administration Good understanding of networking concepts (DNS, VPN, Firewalls) Experience with monitoring tools and troubleshooting performance issues Regards,
