Location: Boston, MA (Need Candidates for this position must reside in MA/NH/RI) Duration: 12 Months
Role Overview
"Navitas Partners, LLC" is seeking an experienced AWS AI Engineer to join an AI Engineering team responsible for building secure, custom web applications leveraging leading large language models (LLMs) within Amazon Bedrock environments. This role focuses on delivering responsible, human-centered AI solutions that streamline business processes and provide measurable value within a highly regulated setting.
The ideal candidate brings strong hands-on expertise in AI/ML development, AWS services, and modern front-end technologies, along with an appreciation for data security, compliance, and scalable system design.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, test, and deploy AI solutions using Amazon Bedrock and related AWS services
Identify and implement opportunities to integrate AI into existing applications and workflows
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather, document, and translate business requirements into technical solutions
Apply best practices for model deployment, monitoring, optimization, and lifecycle management
Develop and maintain technical documentation, AI Center of Excellence (COE) artifacts, and knowledge-transfer materials
Support audit readiness and compliance through clear documentation and secure design practices
Participate in collaborative development using cloud-based version control and CI/CD pipelines
Required Qualifications
3–5 years of experience in application development and AI/ML implementation
2+ years of hands-on experience with Amazon Bedrock and related AWS AI services
Strong understanding of AI/ML frameworks, model deployment, and optimization techniques
Proven experience integrating AI solutions into complex enterprise systems
Proficiency in React and TypeScript for building AI-powered user interfaces
Experience designing intuitive, user-centered UI/UX for AI-driven applications
Familiarity with cloud-based version control systems and CI/CD pipelines
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field
Preferred Qualifications
Experience supporting public sector or government initiatives
Familiarity with regulatory, compliance, and security standards
AWS AI Cloud Practitioner or related AWS certifications
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
