Senior Data AnalystLocation: McLean, VA | Fully On-site (Local candidates preferred)Contract role with extension potential
We are seeking a Senior Data Analyst with strong hands-on experience in mortgage and securitization domains. At least one hire should bring lead-level experience, capable of guiding workstreams, mentoring team members, and partnering closely with stakeholders.
The role requires 8+ years of experience in business and data analysis, with strong SQL skills and experience working in Agile environments (user stories, Jira, sprint/backlog management). Mortgage domain expertise is mandatory, with exposure to securitization.
Candidates should be comfortable with command-line tools, including running Python scripts and analyzing system logs. Strong analytical skills are essential to interpret data from multiple sources, translate business requirements into technical solutions, and deliver actionable insights. The role involves partnering with business and technology teams to build scalable data platforms, perform exploratory analysis, identify advanced analytics opportunities (ML, NLP, automation), and support project delivery through close collaboration.
