ob Summary We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Engineer with deep expertise in AWS infrastructure, Kubernetes container management, and application modernization. The ideal candidate will possess hands-on experience designing, implementing, and optimizing scalable cloud solutions while being comfortable rolling up their sleeves to drive execution. This role involves a mix of architecture, migration, application refactoring, and DevOps. Key Responsibilities • Cloud Solutions & Implementation: Design and implement scalable, secure, and highly available cloud architectures on AWS. Act as a hands-on contributor—not just a high-level planner. • Infrastructure Migration: Lead migration efforts involving virtual machines, container images, and database transitions. Manage storage with S3 and content delivery via CloudFront. • Machine Learning Support: Enable and optimize SageMaker for batch transforms and inference workloads. • Kubernetes & Container Management: Deploy and manage applications within AWS-based Kubernetes clusters. Handle orchestration, scaling, and health monitoring of containerized workloads. • Application Refactoring: Collaborate with development teams to refactor applications and modernize legacy codebases. Manage new repositories and branching strategies. • IaC (Infrastructure as Code): Use Terraform to provision and manage infrastructure across environments. • Cross-Cloud Awareness (Nice to Have): Familiarity with Azure services and architectural patterns. Required Skills & Qualifications • 5+ years of experience in cloud architecture with a strong focus on AWS. • Proven expertise in infrastructure migration and modernization projects. • Solid hands-on experience with Kubernetes and container orchestration in AWS. • Proficient in managing cloud storage, content delivery, and compute services (S3, CloudFront, EC2, SageMaker, etc.). • Strong background in application development workflows, version control (Git), and CI/CD practices. • Experience with Terraform and infrastructure as code (IaC) best practices.
