Hi, Greetings from VDart Inc Job Title : AWS Senior Architect Location : Rockville, MD Mode of Hire : Contract To Hire JD Job Summary: We are seeking a hands-on AWS Senior Architect with a strong engineering mindset and deep experience in building and executing scalable, resilient, and secure architectures. This role goes beyond high-level planning — we're looking for someone who can design, implement, and troubleshoot solutions end-to-end, mentor engineers, and contribute directly to critical projects. The ideal candidate has led architectural decisions, built robust cloud-native systems, and participated in or led projects demonstrating both strategic thinking and technical execution. Strong communication skills and a passion for modern DevOps, cloud-native tooling, and continuous learning are essential. Required Qualifications: • 8+ years of experience in cloud architecture and engineering. • Proven experience designing and executing architectures in AWS. Strong hands-on expertise with: • e.g., AWS (EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, IAM, VPC, etc.) • Kubernetes (EKS preferred) • Python scripting • Terraform • CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, CodePipeline) • Experience with AI/ML platforms (e.g., Dataiku, Databricks). • Strong understanding of ETL concepts and tools like Matillion. • Demonstrated success in delivering projects or critical cloud transformations. • Excellent communication and documentation skills. • Strong analytical thinking and the ability to troubleshoot complex systems. Preferred Qualifications: • AWS Certifications (e.g., Solutions Architect Professional). • Prior experience working in regulated industries (healthcare, finance, etc.). • Familiarity with enterprise data platforms, governance, and security compliance frameworks.
