JOB SPECIFICATIONS:
Education: Bachelors degree with 13-15+ years of experience
Key Responsibilities:
β’ Lead the design and implementation of scalable data pipelines and infrastructure on AWS.
β’ Work with relational databases such as Amazon Aurora and serverless technologies like AWS Lambda.
β’ Write and optimize complex SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and analysis.
β’ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and deliver solutions.
β’ Mentor junior engineers and provide technical leadership across projects.
β’ Ensure data quality, integrity, and security across all systems.
β’ Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues with a problem-solving mindset.
Required Qualifications:
β’ Proven experience with AWS services (e.g., Lambda, Aurora, S3, etc.).
β’ Strong proficiency in SQL and working with relational databases.
β’ Excellent problem-solving skills and analytical thinking.
β’ Experience leading data engineering teams or projects.
β’ Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
Preferred Qualifications: not mandatory
β’ Experience or Knowledge with AWS EMR and AWS Glue is a plus.
β’ Familiarity with Java for backend or data pipeline development.
β’ Experience with OpenSearch or similar search technologies.
β’ Knowledge of data modeling, ETL frameworks, and performance tuning.
