Role description
Job Title: AWS Software Engineer Contract Duration: 11/06/2025 - 10/12/2025 Work Location: Osterley, UK - Hybrid Job Description: What you'll do β€’ Develop excellent quality software β€’ Participate in the full software lifecycle, including support and continuous integration β€’ Contribute to the technical direction of the team β€’ Provide guidance and mentoring to other developers on the team β€’ Share and generate new ideas, provide constructive and useful feedback to peers β€’ Work with internal client teams, external vendors and colleagues in Comcast in the US β€’ Quickly build prototypes and work with top brains in ML across the industry What you'll bring β€’ You have at least 2 years of experience as an AWS software developer – this is a must. AWS certification is a bonus β€’ Expertise in working and following the best practices of using AWS serverless. β€’ Proven ability to refactor and write performant and clean code β€’ Existing experience or ability to very quickly pick up JavaScript/Typescript. It will be nice if you have experience working with Python, React, Lambda, DynamoDB, S3, AppSync/GraphQL, API Gateway, Step Functions etc β€’ Responsibility for reviewing and testing your own and teammates’ code β€’ Restless attitude and a drive to always make things better and quicker β€’ Passion for technology and a fast pace of deliver β€’ Experience working with CI/CD in an agile team
