About the Role
Experience Minimum 5 years in infrastructure Cloud Operations with experience as a technical team lead.
Responsibilities
Cloud Infrastructure Management: Oversee and manage the deployment monitoring maintenance and scaling of cloud infrastructure ensuring high availability and performance.
Automation Scripting: Develop and implement automation strategies for cloud infrastructure using tools like Terraform Ansible and others to streamline operations and reduce manual efforts.
Team Leadership: Work with others to Lead a technical team of CloudOps engineers providing direction support and mentorship to ensure team success and growth.
Incident Management: Respond to and troubleshoot operational issues providing swift resolutions to minimize downtime and service interruptions.
Performance Optimization: Continuously monitor cloud infrastructure performance and implement enhancements to optimize system resources and improve user experiences.
Security Compliance: Ensure cloud infrastructure adheres to industry security standards and compliance regulations implementing best practices for data security and protection.
Collaboration: Work closely with development QA and product teams to ensure seamless integration and deployment of new services and enhancements.
Documentation: Maintain accurate and uptodate documentation of cloud infrastructure processes and procedures for internal use and audit purposes.
Qualifications
β’ Education: Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field.
β’ Experience:
β’ Minimum of 5 years of experience in Cloud Operations and Infrastructure.
β’ Proven experience as a technical team lead with the ability to manage and mentor a team of engineers.
Required Skills
β’ Technical Skills:
β’ Indepth knowledge and experience with AWS cloud platform.
β’ Proficiency in automation and scripting tools such as Terraform Python and Bash a must desirable Ansible.
β’ Strong understanding of containerization and orchestration tools Docker Kubernetes.
β’ Experience with monitoring and logging tools like Prometheus Grafana and ELK stack.
β’ Familiarity with CICD pipelines and tools such as Jenkins GitLab CICD.
β’ Soft Skills:
β’ Excellent problemsolving and troubleshooting skills.
β’ Strong leadership and team management abilities.
β’ Effective communication skills with the ability to convey technical concepts to nontechnical stakeholders.
β’ Selfmotivated and able to work independently as well as in a team environment.
β’ Certifications: Cloud certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect Azure Certified Solutions Architect or Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect are a plus.
