AWS Lead Engineer - REMOTE CONTRACT!

Title: AWS Cloud Lead Engineer Location: REMOTE Rate: 80-90/hr. W2 (flexible) Start: asap My client is looking to hire asap for a Senior Cloud AWS Engineer. Looking for: • An AWS Cloud Engineer/Developer/Team Lead • Core AWS tools this person will use: • Redshift (key priority) MUST HAVE • AWS Glue • S3 • Lambda • QuickSight Day to day: • Design and build data pipelines in AWS • Lead data ingestion and storage architecture • Work across end-to-end data lifecycle • Participate in 2–3 week sprint development cycles • Support integration across multiple environments • Translate business requirements to technical solutions • Help move data from staging to DW • Provide troubleshooting direction (e.g., debugging missing objects like DDLs) • Operate as a technical lead without direct reports Job Summary: Sr. Cloud Engineer The Sr. Cloud Engineer is responsible for the design and management of the cloud-based system. The Engineer will organize and collaborate with teams to identify optimal solutions, modify systems, and ensure they meet needs of the organization. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in designing, implementing, and managing cloud-based data solutions. The role will be responsible for optimizing data storage and ensuring data security and compliance. The successful candidate will have a strong background in cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, and be proficient in programming languages like Python. Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment are essential for this role.
