AxiomSL Developer – Remote

Job Title: AxiomSL Developer – Remote Experience Required: 8+ Years Position Overview We are seeking an experienced AxiomSL Developer with strong hands-on expertise in Axiom ControllerView and regulatory reporting frameworks. The ideal candidate will bring a solid understanding of banking/financial services regulatory reporting requirements and the ability to design, develop, and maintain AxiomSL solutions that ensure compliance, scalability, and efficiency. Key Responsibilities: • Design, develop, and implement regulatory reporting solutions using AxiomSL ControllerView. • Develop and configure Data Models (DMMs), Report Models (RMs), and workflows to support end-to-end regulatory reporting. • Work with business stakeholders and regulatory SMEs to gather requirements, map source data, and define transformation logic. • Develop and maintain SQL queries, stored procedures, and ETL processes to support AxiomSL implementations. • Configure and customize business rules, controls, validations, and adjustments in Axiom. • Manage end-to-end lifecycle of reports including development, SIT, UAT, deployment, and production support. • Troubleshoot and resolve issues in existing AxiomSL reports and frameworks. • Collaborate with risk, compliance, and finance teams to ensure regulatory deadlines are met (e.g., Basel III, FR Y-9C, FFIEC 031/041, COREP/FINREP). • Optimize AxiomSL performance for large datasets, ensuring accuracy and scalability. • Prepare and maintain technical documentation, solution design, and support manuals. Required Skills & Experience: • 8+ years of IT experience with at least 5+ years in AxiomSL (ControllerView). • Hands-on expertise in developing Data Source mappings, DMMs, RMs, workflows, and report templates. • Strong SQL, PL/SQL, and ETL development skills. • Solid understanding of regulatory reporting requirements (e.g., Basel, CCAR, FR Y-9C, FFIEC, COREP, FINREP). • Experience in Unix/Linux, scheduling tools (Control-M, Autosys), and job automation. • Familiarity with DevOps tools (Git, Jenkins, CI/CD pipelines) for version control and deployments. • Strong problem-solving and debugging skills for performance tuning and troubleshooting. • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with global teams. Preferred Skills: • Knowledge of big data platforms (Hadoop, Spark) or cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP). • Exposure to banking/financial services domain with focus on risk and compliance. • Prior experience with Python or Java integration in AxiomSL. • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and working in distributed teams. Education: • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Finance, or related field. • Relevant certifications in finance/regulatory compliance are a plus.
