Job Summary: The Senior Azure AD Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our Azure Active Directory (Azure AD) infrastructure, with a strong focus on Entra ID and Single Sign-On (SSO) solutions. The ideal candidate will possess deep technical expertise in Azure AD, Entra ID, and SSO, along with a passion for delivering secure and efficient identity management solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
β’ Design, implement, and manage Azure Active Directory (Azure AD) and Entra ID solutions to support the organization's identity and access management needs.
β’ Develop and maintain Single Sign-On (SSO) configurations and integrations with various applications and services.
β’ Ensure the security, availability, and performance of the Azure AD environment.
β’ Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Azure AD, Entra ID, and SSO in a timely manner.
β’ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and design solutions that align with business needs and security policies.
β’ Monitor and analyze the performance of Azure AD and SSO services, implementing improvements as needed.
β’ Stay up-to-date with the latest Azure AD, Entra ID, and SSO technologies and best practices, providing recommendations for continuous improvement.
β’ Develop and maintain documentation, including system configurations, procedures, and training materials.
β’ Provide guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and other team members.
β’ Participate in on-call rotation and provide after-hours support as required.
Qualifications:
β’ Bachelorβs degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
β’ 5+ years of experience in identity and access management, with a focus on Azure Active Directory and SSO.
β’ Strong technical expertise in Azure AD, Entra ID, and SSO solutions.
β’ Proficiency in PowerShell scripting for automation and management of Azure AD.
β’ Experience with conditional access policies, identity protection, and multi-factor authentication (MFA).
β’ Familiarity with identity federation protocols such as SAML, OAuth, and OpenID Connect.
β’ Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
β’ Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
β’ Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
β’ Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect, Microsoft Certified: Azure Security Engineer, or similar are highly desirable.
Preferred Skills:
β’ Experience with other IAM solutions and technologies such as Okta, Ping Identity, or similar.
β’ Knowledge of cloud security best practices and frameworks.
β’ Familiarity with Zero Trust architecture and principles.
β’ Experience with identity governance and administration (IGA) solutions.
Pay Range
β’ : $60-65/hr W2
β’ Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
