Job Summary: The Senior Azure AD Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our Azure Active Directory (Azure AD) infrastructure, with a strong focus on Entra ID and Single Sign-On (SSO) solutions. The ideal candidate will possess deep technical expertise in Azure AD, Entra ID, and SSO, along with a passion for delivering secure and efficient identity management solutions. Key Responsibilities: • Design, implement, and manage Azure Active Directory (Azure AD) and Entra ID solutions to support the organization's identity and access management needs. • Develop and maintain Single Sign-On (SSO) configurations and integrations with various applications and services. • Ensure the security, availability, and performance of the Azure AD environment. • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Azure AD, Entra ID, and SSO in a timely manner. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and design solutions that align with business needs and security policies. • Monitor and analyze the performance of Azure AD and SSO services, implementing improvements as needed. • Stay up-to-date with the latest Azure AD, Entra ID, and SSO technologies and best practices, providing recommendations for continuous improvement. • Develop and maintain documentation, including system configurations, procedures, and training materials. • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and other team members. • Participate in on-call rotation and provide after-hours support as required. Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. • 5+ years of experience in identity and access management, with a focus on Azure Active Directory and SSO. • Strong technical expertise in Azure AD, Entra ID, and SSO solutions. • Proficiency in PowerShell scripting for automation and management of Azure AD. • Experience with conditional access policies, identity protection, and multi-factor authentication (MFA). • Familiarity with identity federation protocols such as SAML, OAuth, and OpenID Connect. • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders. • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment. • Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect, Microsoft Certified: Azure Security Engineer, or similar are highly desirable. Preferred Skills: • Experience with other IAM solutions and technologies such as Okta, Ping Identity, or similar. • Knowledge of cloud security best practices and frameworks. • Familiarity with Zero Trust architecture and principles. • Experience with identity governance and administration (IGA) solutions.
