Role description
Job Title: Azure Application Refactoring Engineer - W2 Only Location: Remote Duration: 12 Months Interview Process: Video Interview Tax Terms: W2 Only Work Authorization: U.S. Citizens / Green Card Holders only (due to legal/government contract requirements) Responsibilities β€’ Lead and execute application refactoring and modernization projects in Azure. β€’ Refactor existing applications with a focus on API enablement and microservices adoption. β€’ Develop and implement migration strategies and roadmaps for applications moving from on-premises or other cloud environments into Azure. β€’ Define, document, and enforce best practices, processes, and migration frameworks. β€’ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration, testing, and deployment in Azure. β€’ Provide technical guidance and troubleshooting during the migration lifecycle. Required Skills & Experience β€’ Proven hands-on experience in Azure application refactoring and migration projects. β€’ Strong expertise in APIs and microservices architecture (design, development, and deployment). β€’ Experience migrating applications from on-premises or other cloud platforms into Azure. β€’ Knowledge of Azure PaaS services, containers, and CI/CD pipelines. β€’ Ability to create technical documentation, migration roadmaps, and best practices guidelines. β€’ Strong problem-solving and communication skills, with the ability to work across teams.
