Data Analyst – Business Rules & Metadata
Role Purpose:
The Data Configuration Analyst is responsible for implementing business and regulatory requirements through metadata and configuration. The role owns how business rules behave within the data platform, without writing code.
Key Responsibilities:
• Translate business requirements into executable metadata and configuration.
• Define how business rules, calculations, classifications, and validations operate via metadata.
• Populate and maintain control tables, mappings, and rule parameters.
• Ensure traceability between business requirements and configured rules.
• Validate configured outcomes against business expectations.
• Collaborate with Solution Designers and Data Engineers to ensure correct implementation.
