Role description
Job Title: Sr. Cloud Engineer Location: San Diego, CA (Onsite) Job Type: Contract to Hire Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Sr. Cloud Engineer to design, implement, and maintain scalable, secure cloud infrastructure on Microsoft Azure. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Azure DevOps, AKS, Terraform, Helm Charts, and Azure Networking (vNet) to support robust DevOps and cloud operations. Key Responsibilities: • Design, deploy, and manage Azure cloud infrastructure with a focus on scalability, availability, and security. • Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps. • Manage containerized applications using Azure Kubernetes Services (AKS) and Helm Charts. • Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform. • Configure and monitor Azure Virtual Networks (vNet) and related networking components. • Collaborate with development teams to streamline deployments and troubleshoot infrastructure issues. Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field. • Proven experience in Azure cloud engineering and DevOps practices. • Strong skills in Terraform, AKS, Azure DevOps, and scripting (Python, Bash, or PowerShell). • In-depth understanding of Azure networking and cloud security best practices. Preferred: • Azure certifications (e.g., Solutions Architect, DevOps Engineer). • Experience with AWS or multi-cloud environments.
