🚨 Senior Data Engineer – Secure Data Environment (SDE) | Contract🚨 We’re looking for a Senior Data Engineering Contractor to support the ongoing operation and development of Secure Data Environment (SDE) services within a healthcare setting. This is a hands-on technical role suited to someone comfortable working with sensitive health data, while collaborating across engineering, infrastructure, information governance, and supplier teams. 🔧 Key Responsibilities • Data landing, ingestion, and dataset onboarding into SDE platforms • SDE repository design and data modelling • Building and maintaining OMOP / DBT transformation pipelines • Processing Primary Care datasets • Implementing pseudonymisation and opt-out handling • Managing metadata, data quality, and data assurance frameworks • Supporting BYOD (Bring Your Own Data) pipelines • Working closely with IG, security, and external suppliers ✅ What We’re Looking For • Strong data engineering expertise in complex, regulated environments • Experience handling secure/sensitive datasets (healthcare highly desirable) • Practical knowledge of OMOP, DBT, and modern data pipelines • Solid understanding of data governance, pseudonymisation, and compliance • Ability to operate across technical and stakeholder-facing responsibilities • Proactive, delivery-focused, and comfortable in a multi-disciplinary team 📍 Location & Engagement • Contract role • Hybrid working (UK-based) If you’re a technically strong, hands-on data engineer looking to work on impactful healthcare data platforms, I’d be keen to discuss this opportunity. 📩 Message me directly or comment below to learn more.
