Role: Azure Databricks Engineer
W2 Contract Role
Remote Position
JD:
Lead and mentor a team of data engineers in building and optimizing scalable data pipelines.
Design robust data architectures using Azure Data Factory (ADF) and Azure Databricks.
Develop and maintain ETL/ELT workflows using PySpark and Python.
Work with SQL Server databases for data modeling, extraction, and transformation tasks.
Collaborate with development and analytics teams to deliver reporting solutions and ensure data availability.
Implement best practices for data governance, security, and documentation.
Work closely with cross-functional teams in a CST-aligned schedule.
Required Skills & Experience:
7+ years of experience in data engineering or related roles.
Strong expertise in Azure Databricks, ADF, and Azure Data Architecture.
Proficiency in PySpark, Python, and SQL Server.
Experience in leading technical teams and delivering production-ready solutions.
Strong understanding of data pipelines, data warehousing, and real-time processing.
Excellent communication and leadership skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Familiarity with data governance and compliance best practices.
Background in BI/reporting platforms is a plus.
