Azure DevSecOps Engineer (Contract)

Azure DevSecOps Contract | £700-750 p/ day inside | Azure, Azure Logging, Sentinel, Log Analytics | 6 month | 2 days / week in N London / Hertfordshire About the Role We are seeking an experienced Azure DevOps Engineer with strong infrastructure and security expertise to support a leading retail company. This is a high-impact role focused on deployment, setup, and evaluation of Azure logging solutions, ensuring robust monitoring, observability, and security alignment across the platform. Key Responsibilities • Lead the configuration, deployment, and optimisation of Azure Logging services. • Work with stakeholders to set up and evaluate Azure Sentinel, Log Analytics, and related monitoring tools. • Implement best practices around infrastructure security and compliance within Azure environments. • Support deployment pipelines and ensure integration of logging/monitoring into CI/CD. • Provide technical guidance and knowledge transfer to internal teams. Key Skills & Experience • Strong background in Azure infrastructure with hands-on deployment experience. • Proven expertise in Azure Logging, Azure Sentinel, Log Analytics. • Experience working within large-scale or enterprise environments, ideally in retail or consumer-facing industries. • Understanding of infrastructure security principles and cloud governance. • Previous experience supporting Azure-focused DevOps initiatives and CI/CD automation.
