Backend Engineer – GenAI & Data Infrastructure Location: Brooklyn Park, MN | Hybrid (Local Only) Job Type: Contract (6 months) Compensation: $75.00 - $105.00 per hour (W2 Only) Industry: Retail Required Skills: • OpenSearch/Elasticsearch • PostgreSQL • Python • Strong understanding of GenAI patterns, frameworks, and use cases • Experience with vector databases About the Role We’re looking for a Backend Engineer with strong GenAI expertise to help build data infrastructure and AI-powered workflows that support trend research and design ideation. This role is hands-on, working closely with data scientists and engineers to develop storage, indexing, and search components for a multi-modal library of images and documents. What You’ll Do: • Build and optimize backend systems for GenAI workflows. • Develop infrastructure for data cleaning, tagging, and indexing. • Collaborate in an Agile environment with cross-functional teams.
