Job#: 3030093 Job Description: Acounts Payable Implementation Specialist Location: Miami, Florida (Remote an option) Employment Type: Contract Duration: 12 months Role Overview The Accounts Payable (AP) Implementation Specialist plays a critical role in supporting, maintaining, and optimizing Accounts Payable and Purchase-to-Pay (P2P) processes. This position brings functional expertise in the Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) AP module and serves as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Basware invoicing solutions. This role is actively involved in an Oracle EBS implementation initiative, including the integration of the Basware invoicing platform with Oracle EBS to streamline invoice capture, processing, matching, and payment workflows. The position serves as a key liaison between Finance and IT, ensuring that AP systems effectively support business requirements. Key Responsibilities • Serve as the primary Subject Matter Expert for Oracle EBS Accounts Payable and the integrated Basware invoicing solution. • Support day-to-day operations, ensure system stability, and maintain the Basware-Oracle interface throughout the implementation lifecycle. • Troubleshoot and resolve system issues across Oracle EBS and Basware, including invoice processing errors and integration failures. • Lead configuration and enhancement efforts by gathering and translating requirements from Accounts Payable, Procurement, and Finance stakeholders. • Coordinate solution design validation, including unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT). • Support the optimization of end-to-end Basware invoicing and P2P workflows integrated with Oracle EBS. • Develop and maintain documentation, training materials, and user guides. • Monitor data integrity and key AP performance metrics to identify opportunities for continuous improvement. Required Qualifications Education: This position requires a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Information Systems, or a related field. Experience: The position requires 5+ years of experience in roles such as Oracle EBS Functional Analyst or Systems Specialist, with a focus on Accounts Payable or P2P processes. Demonstrated experience with Basware implementation is necessary. Technical Skills: Required skills include Basware Implementation Experience, knowledge of Oracle EBS AP, and Testing/QA experience. Preferred Qualifications • A Master's degree or advanced certification is considered an asset. • Certifications such as Oracle EBS Financials, PMP, or ITIL. • Ability to analyze system issues and translate data into actionable insights; experience with SQL/PLSQL is beneficial. • Familiarity with BI and reporting tools (e.g., Oracle BI) and analytics related to AP performance. • Familiarity with Agile and project management practices is preferred. Compensation & Benefits The anticipated pay range for this position is $60.00/hr to $66.00/hr. Please note that as a contract employee, benefits may be available with an employee contribution.
