BI Consultant

BI Consultant Our client is seeking an experienced Business Intelligence Consultant to support a short-term initiative focused on designing and delivering Power BI dashboards to track core operational and security-related metrics. The organization has an established Microsoft-based environment and is looking for a hands-on consultant who can quickly translate existing data into clear, actionable visualizations. Key Responsibilities • Design, build, and deliver Power BI dashboards to track agreed-upon KPIs and basic metrics • Work with existing data sources and infrastructure within the Microsoft ecosystem • Collaborate with technical and business stakeholders to understand reporting needs and data definitions • Ensure dashboards are intuitive, reliable, and aligned with best practices for data visualization • Provide light documentation and knowledge transfer as needed Environment & Tools • Microsoft ecosystem (Power BI, Microsoft Defender, Sentinel, Exchange/Email) • Identity, backup, and ITSM tools such as SailPoint, Semperis, and ServiceNow • Existing data infrastructure is in place; focus is on reporting and visualization rather than platform buildout Qualifications • Proven experience developing Power BI dashboards in enterprise environments • Strong understanding of data modeling, DAX, and Power BI best practices • Familiarity with Microsoft security, identity, or IT operations data is a plus • Ability to work independently and deliver quickly in a consulting capacity • Strong communication skills and comfort working with both technical and non-technical stakeholders #SoniTech
