BI Data Analyst/Specialist

Job Summary Location: Smithfield Rhode Island Required Skills • Strong proficiency in SQL for data querying and transformation. • In depth knowledge in a variety of analytics techniques including data profiling and data mining • Strong skills in data analysis of the existing systems • 8-10 years of experience working with data environments and strong knowledge in querying language and/or querying applications (SQL, Alteryx) location: Smithfield, Rhode Island job type: Contract salary: $58 - 59 per hour work hours: 8am to 5pm education: Bachelors Responsibilities • Experience with Python for data analysis and automation • Expertise in VBA Macros and MS Office tools • Hands-on experience with Alteryx for data blending and workflow automation Qualifications • Ability to clearly communicate complex data flows to diverse stakeholders • Excellent communication and documentation skills • Experience working in cross-functional teams, especially with data engineering, modeling and architecture Skills • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, particularly in the areas of strategy development, business analysis, risks and opportunity assessment • You know how to acquire data from multiple sources/environments, understand their lineage and transform data so it can be used for analytics • Ability to think on your feet and respond effectively when priorities change.
