Job Title: Business Intelligence Developer Location: Rosemont, IL Employment Type: Contract Duration: 9 Months Schedule: 9 AM – 5 PM CST Compensation: $52/hr on a W2 basis (no 1099 or C2C) Visa Sponsorship: Not available (No H1B sponsorship in any form) NO C2C Help in any form (no C2C referrals) Job Summary: We are seeking a Business Intelligence Developer to support our Insights & Analytics team. This role involves developing and maintaining user-facing reporting tools and datasets, performing data analysis, and collaborating with data scientists and analysts. The ideal candidate will have strong Power BI and SQL skills, and experience with Snowflake and Azure is preferred. Key Responsibilities: • Design and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards and reports • Create semantic models in Snowflake and Power BI • Perform ETL from various structured and unstructured data sources • Optimize queries and data models aligned with BI strategy • Conduct data analysis to identify trends and support decision-making Required Qualifications: • 7+ years of overall reporting experience with Enterprise reporting tools • 2+ years of Power BI experience, including DAX and dataset creation • Strong SQL skills for complex query development • Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities • Effective verbal and written communication skills Preferred Skills: • Experience with Snowflake • Familiarity with Microsoft Azure • Understanding of data warehousing, ingestion, and modeling concepts • Exposure to other BI, Analytics, or Data Science tools Interested parties reach out to sean.dowling@theplanetgroup.com #tech #hybrid
