BI Engineer

Responsibilities Kforce has a client that is seeking a BI Engineer in Saint Louis, MO. Key Responsibilities: • Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports to support business decision-making • Write and optimize complex SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and analysis • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand reporting needs and deliver actionable insights • Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across reporting platforms • Identify opportunities for automation and process improvement within BI workflows • Communicate findings and recommendations clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders Requirements • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, or related field • 2-5 years of experience in BI engineering, data analytics, or a related field • Proficiency in SQL for data manipulation and analysis • Hands-on experience with Power BI, including dashboard creation and maintenance • Strong communication skills and ability to present data insights effectively • Self-starter with the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities Preferred Qualifications • Experience with Azure DevOps (ADO) for work item tracking and collaboration • Familiarity with Python for data analysis and scripting • Exposure to Spark or similar big data technologies The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law.
