Responsibilities
A client with Kforce is seeking a BI Reporting Analyst III to join their team remotely. Responsibilities:
β’ In this role, the BI Reporting Analyst performs business analysis using various techniques, e.g. statistical analysis, explanatory and predictive modeling, data mining
β’ Determines best practices and develops actionable insights and recommendations for the current business operations
β’ Works directly with the internal or external client to identify analytical requirements
β’ May help to produce ad hoc data and reports
β’ May assist in implementing or developing systems to capture business operation information
β’ May occasionally guide less experienced business data analysts
Requirements
β’ Bachelor's degree in one of the following fields: Statistics Mathematics Computer Science Information Systems Economics Business Analytics Engineering Or other quantitative/technical fields
Core Analytical & Technical Skills:
β’ SQL: Strong proficiency in writing complex queries, joins, CTEs, window functions, etc.
β’ Data Visualization: Experience with BI tools like Qlik
β’ Data Warehousing: Familiarity with Databricks
β’ ETL/ELT Processes: Understanding of data pipelines and transformation workflows
β’ Complex A/B Testing: Ability to design, analyze, and interpret experimental results
CRM-Specific Knowledge:
β’ Customer Segmentation: Experience building or using segments based on behavior, conversion stage, demographics, etc.
β’ Funnel Analytics: Understanding of metrics like activation, retention, conversion funnels
β’ Campaign Performance Tracking: Ability to assess effectiveness of email, push, SMS, or in-app campaigns
β’ Marketing Tools: Familiarity with CRM platforms like Braze
Business & Communication Skills:
β’ Stakeholder Communication: Ability to translate data insights into clear business recommendations
β’ Storytelling with Data: Build presentations or dashboards that convey insights effectively
β’ Cross-functional Collaboration: Work well with marketing, data engineering, and product teams
β’ Problem-Solving: Analytical thinking and structured approach to ambiguous questions
Tooling & Languages:
β’ SQL (must-have) - Python or R (for advanced analysis; optional but often valued)
β’ CRM Platforms (Braze)
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
