Role description
Responsibilities A client with Kforce is seeking a BI Reporting Analyst IV to join their team in Mountain View CA. This is a remote opportunity. Essential Functions: β€’ Performs business analysis using various techniques (e.g. statistical analysis, explanatory and predictive modeling, data mining) β€’ Determines best practices and develops actionable insights and recommendations for the current business operations β€’ Works directly with the internal or external client to identify analytical requirements β€’ May help to produce ad hoc data and reports β€’ May assist in implementing or developing systems to capture business operation information β€’ May occasionally guide less experienced business data analysts Requirements β€’ Bachelor's degree in Business Analytics, Marketing Analytics, Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, or a related quantitative field required; Master's degree in Data Analytics, Business Intelligence, or Marketing Analytics is a plus; Equivalent work experience in data analysis or marketing reporting may be considered in place of formal education Technical & Analytical Skills: β€’ SQL proficiency: Writing complex queries to extract, join, and transform data from relational databases β€’ Data visualization tools: Expertise in tools like Qlik Sense for building dashboards and reports β€’ ETL knowledge: Familiarity with data pipelines and tools (e.g., Superglue, Alteryx, Informatica, dbt, Airflow) β€’ Statistical analysis: Understanding of statistical methods, A/B testing, regression analysis, and forecasting β€’ Scripting languages: Python or R for deeper data analysis and automation (nice-to-have) Marketing & Business Knowledge: β€’ Digital marketing metrics: Understanding of KPIs such as CTR, CPC, ROAS, LTV, conversion rates, and funnel analysis β€’ Channel expertise: Familiarity with key digital marketing channels, including SEO, social media, email marketing, and affiliate programs β€’ Attribution modeling: Knowledge of multi-touch attribution and marketing mix modeling β€’ Campaign performance measurement: Ability to track and evaluate campaign effectiveness across different channels Data & Reporting Competencies: β€’ Dashboard creation: Designing user-friendly, automated dashboards for marketing stakeholders β€’ Data storytelling: Translating raw numbers into clear insights and recommendations β€’ Data governance: Ensuring accuracy, consistency, and compliance with data standards β€’ KPI frameworks: Defining and maintaining standardized marketing metrics and reporting structures Soft Skills β€’ Communication: Explaining complex data findings to non-technical stakeholders β€’ Collaboration: Partnering with marketing, finance, and data engineering teams The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law.
